2 In this experiment you will investigate the variation of current, I. with the resistance, $R$, of a combination of resisters.
(a) Connect the circuit of Fig. 2.1.

(b) (i) Close the switch and take the voltmeter and ammeter readings $V$ and $I$ respectively. Record values of $V$ and $I$ including values of R and $1 / I$ in your table.
(ii) Change the value of $R$ and repeat (i) until you have six sets of readings.
(c) Theory suggests that R and $I$ are related by

\]
where $A$ and $B$ are constants.
(i) Plot a suitable graph to test this relationship.
(ii) Use the graph to determine the values of $A$ and $B$.
