Due to a significant number of candidates who fail principles of accounts at ordinary level many teachers are forced to look for appropriate examination guides in order to adequately prepare their candidates for examinations. It has been discovered that the main causes of failure in principles of accounts is that many candidates fail to understand and interpret the requirements of the questions. It is against this background that the authors have found the need to compile examination guides which presents past exam questions from zimsec and tried to come up with suggested solutions so that through constant practice pupils are well polished for both internal and external examinations. It is our hope and prayer that these guides will go a long way in helping the Zimbabwean pupil to achieve the desired results and also contribute to the ZIMASSET model where Zimbabweans are encouraged to make a leverage out of the internal resources for economic emancipation.
