XN acting in the same direction. Given that the magnitude of the resultant is now $6 N$, find $X$. 2. A particle of mass 2.5 kg is acted upon by a 20 N force. The plane is rough and the particle is on the point of sliding up the plans. i. Show that the coefficient of friction is 0.527. If the 20 N force is now removed determines. ii. Whether or not the particles will slide down.
