COMPOSITION A composition must be shorter. - Use of short words is not allowed, words like e.g, e.t.c. - The composition should follow a certain order and come to conclusion or end. - A composition should express the personal feelings and ideas of the writer. - Every sentence in the paragraph must closely connected with the main topic of the paragraph. GUIDED COMPOSITION A JOURNEY BY BUS 1. Place visited 2. Amount paid for the journey 3. Things seen on the way 4. Time taken for the journey 5. Things done on arrival We went to our local bus terminus called Kudzanai with my father. When we reached the bus terminus, my father bought me a ticket to Harare. It was around six o'clock in the evening when the journey started. Although there was a lot of traffic the bus maintained a good speed. On our way the lorries, buses, cars and other vehicles passed us. Since there was darkness everywhere I could not see anything outside. 1
